Renovation of a municipal facility in Huntington, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Seeking written responses from qualified contractors for rot repair and painting of the North Hall building located at 40 Searle Road, Huntington, MA. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all responses if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town. Remove and dispose of all rotted clapboards, corner trim, fascia board, brickmould, and window sills. o Replace all rotted clapboards, corner trim, and fascia board, and window sills with new wooden replacements. Replacement clapboards, corner trim, and fascia board should be a minimum of 2 feet in length. o Replace all rotted brickmould around windows and doors with new composite brickmould. o Caulk around new brickmould and any other necessary areas. o Scrape loose, peeling, and deteriorating paint from the entire exterior of the building including doors. o Prepare all surfaces and apply primer and paint in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. o Prime the entire exterior of the building including doors, trim, gutters, downspouts, and small wooden railing (left side of building) with one coat of primer. o Paint the exterior of the building including doors with two coats of white exterior paint. o Paint the exterior trim, gutters, downspouts, and small wooden railing (left side of building) that is currently green, the same color green with two coats of exterior paint. Color sample to be verified with Town Administrator prior to application. o Primer and paint to be used must be Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore. Leftover paint shall be left onsite for Town of Huntington's future use for touch-ups All non-painted areas shall be protected to avoid potential damage. All damaged and altered areas disturbed by the Contractor's operations shall be restored to pre-existing conditions at no additional cost to the Town. o Normal hours of work will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. o All work must be completed by June 30, 2026 For questions regarding this Request for Written Responses, please contact: Jennifer Peloquin - Town Administrator bids@huntingtonma.us Questions must be submitted by Friday, April 10, 2026.
