The Towns of Newington, Rocky Hill, and Wethersfield are seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide one or more permitted facilities within thirty-five (35) miles of the geographic boundaries of the three Towns for the following services: 1. Receive, process, dispose of, and recycle all wastes and recyclables managed by the three Towns; 2. As an option, if a Food Waste / Organics Collection program is implemented, to receive, process, dispose of, and recycle all organic and food waste managed by the three Towns; and 3. As an option, if a Curbside Yard Waste program is implemented, to receive, process, and recycle any materials managed by the curbside yard waste of the Towns. Companies may submit pricing for items 1, 2, and 3; any individual item; or any combination thereof. Multiple companies may be selected if deemed in the best interest of the Towns. All proposals must adhere to the Towns’ specifications and be submitted using the supplied form. Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employers and Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. Each Town reserves the right to select or not select a respondent as a result of this Request for Proposals.
