The work includes 175 linear feet of town road reconstruction for a stormwater structure replacement. The project consists of clearing and grubbing, sawcutting asphalt, removing the asphalt surface, removing the existing structure, installing 48 linear feet of a 15-foot-4-inch by 10-foot aluminum pipe arch with headwalls and wingwalls, structure backfill, base aggregate, asphalt pavement, traffic control, riprap, geotextile fabric, salvaged topsoil, and restoration. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN.com using the Quest vBid service. Prospective bidders should register with Quest CDN as a plan holder and must download the bidding documents from the site to submit a bid. Bidding documents are available for a fee. Each proposal must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price, in the form of a certified check or electronic bid bond. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening date. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
