Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Texarkana, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction, on behalf of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System and Texas A&M University-Texarkana, requests proposals for selection of a Construction Manager at Risk firm. The selected firm will provide pre-construction services such as constructability guidance, cost estimates, and construction schedules; offer a Guaranteed Maximum Price; and perform all construction services according to the CMAR construction delivery process for the Athletics Complex Phase II project at Texas A&M University-Texarkana in Texarkana, Texas. The Football Practice Field/Track site will include a 5,269 GSF metal support building containing basic dressing areas for home and visiting teams, two individual restrooms, four offices, and secured outdoor storage. The restrooms are intended for use by players and staff, while fan restrooms will be provided in the shared plaza as part of the Baseball/Softball project.
