Site work for a transportation facility in Coshocton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and transportation facility.

The work generally consists of two contracts: CONTRACT 1 involves constructing a taxilane with 1,114 square yards of asphalt pavement. CONTRACT 2 involves rehabilitating the terminal apron (crack and joint cleaning and sealing, spray seal surface) and rehabilitating the south apron (crack cleaning and sealing). Bidders may bid on either contract or both. Bids must be on the prescribed forms furnished with the specifications and in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Each contract has a separate set of plans and bid documents. Each bidder must submit with the proposal a bid security in the form of a bond equal to not less than 100% of the bid, or a certified check equal to not less than 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must start work within five calendar days after Notice to Proceed and complete the work within 30 consecutive calendar days for CONTRACT 1 and 21 consecutive calendar days for CONTRACT 2. Liquidated damages of $700.00 per calendar day will be assessed for failure to complete the work on time. The successful bidder must pay employees at wage rates not less than those in the wage determination decisions of the United States Secretary of Labor. The work is subject to several federal requirements including Buy American Preference, Civil Rights (Title VI Assurances), Davis Bacon, Governmentwide Debarment and Suspension, Foreign Trade Restriction, Lobbying restrictions, Recovered Materials, Distracted Driving, and Veteran's Preference. All work, contracts, and awards are subject to review and approval by the Federal Aviation Administration. The authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. Proposals on forms not furnished by the owner or copied from display sets will not be accepted. Bids may be rejected if the lowest responsive bid exceeds the engineer's estimate by more than 20%. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 120 days after opening. The work generally consists of: Reconstruct Runway Visual Guidance System (REIL) for Runway 22 and Reconstruct Runway Visual Guidance System (PAPI) for Runway 22 at Richard Downing Airport.
