Renovation of a military facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Sealed Bids are requested for facade repairs at 6400 St Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Complete bid documents are available electronically from Made Design, LLC. Printed copies may be obtained through reprographic firms at the bidder's expense. A mandatory Pre-Bid conference and site visit is required for all prospective bidders. Only contractors attending the entire Pre-Bid conference are eligible to submit bids. Bids must include bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and Additional Bid Items (ABI), in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. Contractors must hold a license for Building Construction per LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192. The successful bidder is required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount, including ABI if required. Bids may not be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt, except as provided by LA R.S. 38:2214. Bids can be submitted electronically via the specified website prior to the deadline. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids for just cause. Participation in the Louisiana Initiative for Small Entrepreneurships and the Veteran Initiative is encouraged.
