Renovation of an educational facility in Sparks, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Remove and replace four rooftop units serving the library. Remove two existing steam air handlers in the mechanical mezzanine. Install a new VRF air handler system to serve the ROTC offices, photo classroom, and metal shop office. Install three new rooftop units to serve G hall hallway, G7, and G9 classrooms. Install two new gas-fired furnaces with split-dx outdoor condensing units serving the metal shop classroom. Perform miscellaneous roof work including curbs, walk pads, ships ladder, gas piping, and electrical. It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies for the following license groups: A23 or General Contracting AB, B licenses if more than two building trades are utilized; or Specialty License C1, C2, C3, and C21 if the bidder is performing the majority of the work per NRS 338.139. If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor's Board, then they must do so ten days prior to the bid due date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All questions shall be submitted in writing directly to WCSD's Solicitations website at http://solicitations.washoeschools.net/ or via e-mail to solicitations@washoeschools.net by 4:30 p.m. (Local Time) on April 23, 2026.
