Renovation of a municipal facility in City of Industry, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The scope of work consists of installing packaged rooftop HVAC units and associated work for the District Administration Offices. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids on the provided form by the specified deadline, possessing an active B California Contractor License at the time of bid opening and throughout the project, and providing a bid bond or other acceptable security equal to 10% of the total bid price. The awarded contractor must furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. The project requires compliance with prevailing wage laws. All bids must conform and be responsive to all pertinent contract documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularity in bids received. Bidders cannot withdraw their bids for ninety days after the bid opening. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder for each base bid. A mandatory pre-bid conference/job-walk will be held at the District Office at 11:00 am April 22, 2026, 15959 E. Gale Ave., City of Industry, CA 91745, Contractors will be required to sign-in confirming attendance. The due date for questions is 2:00 pm April 27, 2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents including questions on the plans and specifications are to be directed in writing via email to the District at: jduarte@hlpusd.org with a courtesy copy to the District's architect at: cloughrey@tbparchitecture.com.
