The City of McEwen is accepting sealed bids from qualified companies interested in city street paving. The contractor selected will be responsible for preparing grading, leveling, cleaning, tacking, and placing a hot mix asphalt surface over lay on streets in the City of McEwen. Bidders agree by the submission to commence work within 30 days of the issuance by the city of a written "Notice to Proceed" and to fully complete the work within 60 days from that date. The work shall have a one-year warranty secured by a bond. The City of McEwen reserves the right to reject any proposals and to award the bid in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the city. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
