The County of Two Hills No. 21 is accepting price proposals for mowing operations for the 2026-2028 season, under a 3-year contract. The mowing operations will include: one pass shoulder cut on approximately 1,300 miles of municipal roadside, with price proposals submitted at cost per mile mowed (both sides of the roadway). Roadside mowing must be completed between July 15th to August 30th of the contract year. Shoulder mowing cuts should include a 15-foot cut on all roads immediately adjacent to the driving surface on both sides, with a minimum of 8 feet in areas where a full cut is not possible. Mowing must ensure no debris is left on the road surface, using side mount or offset hitch equipment so the tractor stays on the road surface. Vegetation, including trees up to 1 inch in diameter, must be mowed to a minimum height of 5 inches. The proposal will be awarded based on the highest total number of points from the proposal Evaluation Criteria, not necessarily the lowest bid.
