The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the Gymnasium RTU Replacement Project and associated work at St. John Elementary Catholic, 34 Wilson Street East, Perth, Ontario. The work includes the removal of the existing Carrier Rooftop Unit (RTU), which is currently failing, and the supply and installation of a new like-for-like Carrier RTU. In addition, the work includes the supply and installation of a new Exhaust Fan and a Ductless Split System with outdoor rooftop condenser. The new system shall provide both heating and cooling to the classrooms and be tied to the school's existing BACNET system. The contractor shall include all required demolition of existing infrastructure and provision of new infrastructure for the work at hand for all disciplines as outlined in the mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural discipline design drawings. Attendance at the mandatory site meeting by contractors is required for bid eligibility. Sub-contractors are not required to attend, and their attendance will not count toward bidder compliance. The existing wing of the school within the main scope of work area is a flat roof section where the replacement unit is currently located at.
