Major quantities for the work include: Salvage and install 3 hydrants; 425 cubic yards of common excavation; 540 tons of aggregate base, Class 5; 72 tons of bituminous paving; 0.17 acres of seeding; 3,514 square feet of concrete walks and driveways; 900 square feet of concrete block landscape wall; 3 hydrant assemblies; 2 flared end sections, 15-inch with trash guard; 8 cubic yards of random riprap; and 137 linear feet of wire fence. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Contractors must submit a signed statement under oath verifying compliance with the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, Section 16C.285, Subdivision 3. Minimum wage rates must be paid as predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962 and implementing regulations. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, equal employment opportunity regulations, and the Minnesota Human Rights Act, including obtaining and maintaining valid Certificates of Compliance as required.
