Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Crawfordville, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
The principal feature is the construction of the St. Marks Fire Rescue Facility as specified in ITB 2026-06. Bids must be sealed and delivered to the Office of the Board of County Commissioners. All technical inquiries and clarification requests must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Office. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for all contractors wishing to submit bids. Attendees must sign in to be eligible to bid. Questions from the pre-bid meeting will only be addressed if submitted in writing. Bidders on the convicted vendor list are prohibited from participation. The County reserves the right to waive informalities, reject proposals, re-bid, and accept the bid it deems in its best interests, with flexibility in awarding based on the base bid and any selected alternates. The County may also increase or decrease quantities as required at the bid unit price. Open and fair competition is enforced, and minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to participate. The County does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, marital status, or disability. Question Deadline 04/23/2026 at 3:00 PM ET All technical inquiries and clarification requests shall be submitted in writing to the Procurement Office at Procurement@mywakulla.com in accordance with the ITB. Verbal clarifications will not be provided. All question(s) asked at the pre-bid meeting will not be formally addressed via addendum unless provided to the County in writing. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 4,967 square foot building which is comprised of concrete foundation,steel and metal framing will be used for the exterior walls, and the roof will consist of metal trusses and deck with a standing seam metal roof. New HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems will be required as well as site work and utilities. Site work will consists of, but not limited to, debris removal, perimeter fence removal, asphalt paving, concrete driveway, utility connection and any other scope shown in the documents.
