Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Payette, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,323-square-foot fire / police facility.

The project consists of a 3,157 square foot Emergency Medical Service (EMS) facility with a 3,169 square foot double loaded ambulance bays, totaling 6,323 square feet. Bids are sought for the supply and installation of a post frame structure/shell. The scope includes standard lower cord truss with 4/12 pitch, 14' clearance above 100' pad elevation mark at the ambulance bay, and 10' clearance at the station, designed to support liner panel ceiling, purlin blocking at both end walls, in ground caisson post footings, roofline wind bracing with a 30 psf roof snow load with 2"x4" continuous 2'0" OC purlins. Exterior finishes include premium steel roof/siding panels over CDX plywood and underlayment, house wrap, premium steel panel wainscot, continuous ridge vent, standard ridge cap, side/end wall overhangs with aluminum vented soffits and OSB air deflectors, 2x6 frame man doors with J-trim, 3'x4' exterior casement windows with J-trim, 12'x12' overhead sectional insulated doors with glass view panels, and awnings over exterior and overhead doors. Interior finishes include 2x4 interior nailers at 24" O.C., interior liner panels, ceiling perimeter nailers, and batt insulation. All interior wall framing, gypsum sheathing and finish materials, concrete slab, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression scope, as well as final site improvements and landscape, will be bid under a separate contract at a later date. Pre-engineered metal buildings may be considered as an alternate substitution for the building shell/structure. Only prequalified DPW licensed subcontractors may submit bids. Each subcontractor must be pre-qualified through Core Construction, pursuant to Idaho Statutes Title 54, Chapter 45, 54-4511.
