The project consists of paying for all labor, materials, tools, taxes, and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of settled sludge from the Waimea Water Treatment Plant 2.7mg and 8.5mg reservoirs, and drying beds as needed, for a contract period starting from the date of the notice to proceed and ending June 30, 2028. Removal of the sludge is on an as-needed basis and the total cost throughout the duration of the contract shall not exceed $500,000.00. Forms of specifications, instructions, terms and conditions, and proposal may be obtained from the Office of the Manager-Chief Engineer, through Public Purchase (www.publicpurchase.com), an e-procurement system.
