This project consists of minor demolitions to the existing building elements, new interior metal framing and drywall, new doors and frames, hardware and new transom window units. New associated finishes and painting and minor electrical and special systems wiring, fixtures and devices. Bid Security in the amount and form specified will be required with each bid. Bids may not be withdrawn until 30 days after the bid date and time. Bidders may be required to submit written evidence of financial position, evidence of license to perform work in the State of Illinois, and that their firm is not debarred from bidding or receiving contracts with the State of Illinois or the Illinois Capital Development Board. Successful bidders must observe the Prevailing Wage Act, the Public Work Preference Act, the Illinois Human Rights Act, and enter a project labor agreement with the Egyptian Building & Construction Trades Council.
