This project requires the contractor to procure, install, and commission a new headworks combined rag and grit removal system for the Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. The new system will replace the existing "JWC Muffin Monster" rag removal system and the "Pista-Grit" grit removal system with a single, comprehensive, and innovative integrated unit. The contractor shall provide one integrated unit that performs both rag removal and grit classification functions and is capable of screening down to 2 mm without blinding from particulate matter, rags, and grit. All required valves, piping, and appurtenances necessary to tie into the existing system shall be included so the unit functions as specified in the manufacturer's proposal. The available footprint for the equipment is approximately 6 feet 4 inches wide by 23 feet long. Available power includes a rag removal panel fed from the MCC RM HOA Control rotary 15-amp breaker, three-phase, 20-gauge wire, and a grit removal panel fed from the MCC RM Panel UTILI 15-amp breaker, three-phase, 20-gauge wire. Interested small business sources are requested to submit capability information for planning and market research purposes only. Responses shall identify whether the company is a supplier or a manufacturer and shall include the company's Unique Entity Identifier, CAGE Code, System for Award Management registration expiration date, and, if applicable, GSA contract number and expiration date. Respondents are also requested to propose a pricing schedule that may be utilized in a potential future solicitation.
