Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Dewey is seeking bids for paving and shouldering approximately 1.205 miles (+/-), including intersection aprons, of Swiss Chalet Road. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for pre-paving site preparation, paving, shouldering, and final site work. Paving must be 20 feet wide with a 3-inch thickness using 4LT 58-34S asphalt. Shoulders must be 2 feet wide gravel and include driveway joints. The bidder must be licensed, bonded, and insured, and will be responsible for the quality of the completed project according to bid specifications. Shouldering work may be subcontracted only if it is financially advantageous to the Town and does not reduce quality. All bids must include proof of insurance. The Town of Dewey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or portions thereof. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
