Renovation of a municipal facility in Brainerd, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,990-square-foot municipal facility.
This project consists of the replacement of the existing roof system with installation of new EPDM ballasted roofing system in the built-up areas and replacement of the fully adhered roofing system. The existing flashing is anticipated to be replaced. The work includes re-roofing approximately 9,143 square feet of the ballasted roof, approximately 13,547 square feet of the adhered roof, installation of one new 4" roof drain, one new 4" overflow roof drain, and two new 6 x 12 overflow scuppers on the Crow Wing County Services Building. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, clearly marked on the lower left-hand corner 'Bid Enclosed for Crow Wing County Central Services Re-Roof' and with the name and address of the bidder and the date and hour of the opening. Each bid must be accompanied with a cashier's check, bid bond, U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. Security is payable to the Owner as a guarantee of prompt execution of the contract in accordance with the proposal and Contract documents. Crow Wing County reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Bids are to be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the project manual. Bids not received on the Bid Form will be cause for rejection.
