Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and perform all work necessary to conduct Airfield Pavement Maintenance. The project includes the following work items and estimated quantities: mobilization (8% limit) lump sum; asphalt crack preparation and seal (rout and seal) 15,000 LF; previously sealed asphalt crack preparation and seal (remove/rout, heat lance and seal) 25,000 LF; failed asphaltic concrete pavement repair 410 SY; waterborne paint, white, with reflective media 11,573 SF; waterborne paint, yellow, with reflective media 3,812 SF; waterborne paint, black, without reflective media 1,946 SF; pavement marking removal 13,942 SF; refined coal tar emulsion with additives, slurry seal surface treatment 45,389 SY; longitudinal/transverse crack repair (36" width) 3,500 LF. Quantities are approximate and subject to change. Bid submission requires a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least five percent of the total amount of the bid. Bids may be held for up to 120 calendar days for evaluation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Missouri Prevailing Wage Law, and pay the highest of federal or state wage rates. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin. The project is subject to applicable federal provisions regarding affirmative action, wage laws, debarment and suspension, foreign trade restrictions, and Buy American preferences.
