Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for Harrison Avenue Improvements and various Borough parking lot improvements. Plans and specifications are available for purchase from Grotto Engineering Associates, LLC. Proposals must be made on the standard forms provided in the contract documents and enclosed in sealed envelopes indicating the name of the work and the bidder's name and address. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from an approved surety company and either a bid bond or a certified check for not less than ten percent of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000.00. Only bidders properly qualified according to the requirements of the contract documents will be accepted. The successful bidder must comply with the Anti-Kickback Regulations, Affirmative Action requirements, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities not detrimental to its interests. The Borough may also increase or decrease specified quantities as designated in the specifications. All bids are binding for 60 days after opening.
