Middletown Township Sewer Authority is requesting bids for the maintenance of its Sanitary Sewer System. This work does not grant an exclusive right to perform all maintenance on the collection system, and the Owner reserves the right to hire any contractor to perform any work on the system. Bids are requested for the Maintenance Contract – 26-1. Prospective bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond must be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the bidding documents are to be submitted via PennBid; telephone inquiries are unacceptable. Bidders must comply with all state antibid-rigging regulations, submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid, and comply with all regulations dealing with environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources. Bidders are also required to utilize the Federal Government’s E-Verify system to ensure all employees performing work are authorized to work in the United States, and to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for contract award. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date. The Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority, and to reject any or all proposals.
