AVGAS Fuel System Replacement Package 1 (Site Preparation and Concrete) WBS NO. 36244.16.20.2 Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work required to satisfactorily complete the Site Preparation and Concrete associated with the overall AVGAS Fuel System Replacement project. Items of work include erosion control, fence and bollard demolition, site grading, and construction of concrete slab and tank supports. Carefully read the instructions for preparing bids in Section 20 of the specifications before submitting bids. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project name. Pre-qualification requirements: Each bidder must be registered as a prequalified bidder with the NCDOT at the time of bid opening. All subcontractors must be registered as a pre-qualified subcontractor with the NCDOT at the beginning of the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a deposit of cash, or a certified check payable to Burlington-Alamance Airport Authority for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid. The required Contract and Performance and Payment Bonds must be furnished within fifteen days after receipt of written notice of the award. The contract is subject to Federal Contract Provision Requirements contained in Appendix 'C' of the Contract Documents. All contracts and subcontracts that result from this solicitation incorporate by reference the provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The Burlington-Alamance Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The award is contingent upon the availability of Federal, State, and Local funds. No discrimination will be allowed in consideration for an award based on race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related regulations. Question Deadline 04/30/2026 A Bidder who discovers discrepancies or omissions with the project bid documents shall immediately notify the Owner's ENGINEER of the matter. A bidder that has doubt as to the true meaning of a project requirement may submit to the Owner's ENGINEER a written request for interpretation no later than 5 days prior to bid opening.
