The project includes the removal of approximately 750 linear feet of taxiway pavement and the construction of approximately 290 linear feet of new concrete taxiway pavement. Removals include about 13,000 square yards of concrete pavement, 2,500 square yards of asphalt pavement, associated shoulder underdrain pipes and cleanouts, existing lighting infrastructure, and pavement markings. Construction includes around 9,400 cubic yards of embankment, 14,000 cubic yards of excavation, 1,000 linear feet of concrete crack repair, 14,500 linear feet of concrete joint repair, 1,500 square feet of concrete spall repairs, 8,500 square yards of new concrete taxiway pavement, 17,600 square yards of asphalt shoulder, 2,600 linear feet of concrete ditch paving, 32,000 square feet of pavement marking, and associated base courses, underdrains, drainage structures, taxiway edge lighting, centerline lighting, guidance signs, airfield electrical lighting infrastructure, and FAA communications infrastructure as indicated in the plans and specifications. Bids will be received on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must be licensed to perform work in Arkansas, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds. The project is partially funded by the FAA and is subject to federal provisions including Buy American Preference, Civil Rights assurances, Davis-Bacon requirements, debarment and suspension, lobbying restrictions, procurement of recovered materials, and prohibition of certain unmanned aircraft systems. Bids must remain in effect for 90 days after opening, and the owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities.
