The Austin Independent School District (AISD) is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) from qualified firms for infrastructure renovations at Garcia Young Men's Leadership Academy (YMLA). The project includes structural remediation, HVAC improvements, building repairs, and interior renovations as part of the 2017 and 2022 Bond Programs. The estimated construction budget is $5,500,000.00. Question Deadline date changed from 04/16/2026 to 04/23/2026 as per Addendum 2 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Project consists of infrastructure renovations at Garcia Young Men's Leadership Academy (YMLA) as part of the 2017 and 2022 Bond Programs. The Project was originally initiated under the 2017 Bond Program and was placed on hold due to structural litigation. Funding for the Project now includes litigation proceeds, Maintenance Tax Note funds, and 2022 Bond funds. The Work includes, but is not limited to: Structural remediation, including replacement of topping slab Replacement of outdoor patios and ground stabilization Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) improvements Replacement and relocation of air handling units Building repairs (roofing, sidewalks, parking lots) Interior renovations including: Mental Health Center Community and Partner Rooms Community Pantry Adult Restroom with changing table The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the project drawings, specifications, and contract documents. All Work shall be performed in accordance with the Project Drawings and Project Manual included as part of this solicitation.
