Renovation of an office development in Key West Nas, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,800-square-foot office development.

The project consists of removing the existing roofing and insulation down to the sheathing and installing a standing seam 24-gauge metal roof and TPO roof on the Tavernier Customer Service office, for a total of approximately 2,700 square feet for the metal roof and 2,100 square feet for the flat roof. The work includes approximately 1,245 feet of aluminum fascia wrap and soffit, as well as 360 feet of seamless gutters. The scope includes all applicable coatings, insulation, and appurtenances per the plans and specifications, as well as hauling of any debris from the removal. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a copy of certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract. All bid bonds, contract bonds, insurance contracts, and certificates of insurance must be executed or countersigned by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company with a place of business in the State of Florida, and must comply with Florida insurance laws. The successful bidder must hold or obtain the required contractors and business licenses as required by state statutes. The FKAA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion or to waive any informalities and irregularities in proposals submitted.
