Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of street paving in the City of Jonesboro, Grant County, Indiana. The project consists of paving various streets throughout the city, including cleaning as part of paving, and may also involve milling, tack coat, surface and/or binder courses, and adjustment of castings or valves depending on the location. The work includes all necessary general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, and insurance required for the construction of the facilities. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked for the 2026 Jonesboro Street Paving, using the printed Proposal Form found in the project manual. Each bid must include a bid guaranty (certified check or bond) equal to 5% of the bid amount. Bids must also include all information requested by Indiana Form 96 (Revised 2010), including a financial statement. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, maintenance, and payment bonds equal to the contract amount and certificates of all required insurance prior to beginning construction. All bonds and liability insurance must remain in effect for twelve months following completion and acceptance of construction. Each bidder is responsible for inspecting the project sites and thoroughly reviewing the contract documents and specifications. Only unconditional bids will be accepted.
