Separate sealed bids are requested for Race Track Road Water Line Improvements, Project No. 24-15-C1. The project consists of approximately 3,900 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water line to be installed along Old Highway 271 and Race Track Road in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Bids shall only be received from registered bidders who have obtained contract documents through QuestCDN. All bidder questions must be submitted through the QuestCDN project portal page. Each bidder must deposit bid security in the amount, form, and subject to conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, as amended, and classified as a General Contractor for the classification required to perform this work. The City encourages participation of small, minority, and woman-owned business enterprises for this procurement. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The City reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
