Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Palmyra, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Bridge Replacement Project Structure No. C006600815 Construction of a triple 12'x12'x50' concrete box culvert on a 10 degree skew. Work includes removal of existing bridge abutments, site preparation, culvert construction, grading, erosion control, and other incidental work. The selected bidder shall furnish necessary equipment, transportation, labor, materials, and incidentals required to complete the work per the contract documents. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided with the bid documents. Each bidder must submit bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the Treasurer of Otoe County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five percent of the bid proposal. The bidder must include with its bid proposal an estimated start date and completion date for all work on the project. The contractor will be allowed sixty calendar days for project completion. The desired completion date of the project is October 30, 2026. Project Location: The Project Site is located approximately 2.0 miles north and 2.5 miles east of Palmyra.
