These projects include: C-59(963) Tara Heights Drive, Grand View Road, and Piedmont Avenue; C-59(977) 553rd Avenue starting 0.4 miles north of 832nd Road south to 831st Road and on 831st Road from 553rd Avenue to 5531/2 Avenue; C-59(993) Andy's Lake Road from South 1st Street to Andersen Street; and C-59(1010) Eisenhower Avenue from 49th Street to 37th Street. The work involves asphaltic concrete overlays of varying thicknesses, cold milling, subgrade preparation, rubblization, and other related incidental work. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for construction. Bidders must submit their proposals on forms provided, include an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of the total bid, and provide both a start and end date for each project. The desired completion date for all sites is October 31, 2026. Specific timeframes are allotted for each site. The selected contractor must furnish a surety bond(s) for the full contract amount within ten days of award. The county reserves the right to consider bid site schedules, to reject any or all bids, or waive irregularities, and to comply with nondiscrimination laws.
