Site work for a communication facility in Mullen, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the construction, including the supply of necessary labor and equipment, for a rural electric project known as the 12.47KV Electrical System Upgrade. The project consists of furnishing labor, material, and equipment for replacing miscellaneous poles, transformers, and reconductoring. Approximately 4.75 miles of 12.47 kV distribution line, 1.25 miles of 7.2 kV distribution line are to be constructed, and approximately 1.5 miles of 12.47 kV, 3.25 miles of 4.16 kV, and 1.25 miles of 2.4 kV distribution lines are to be removed. Work will commence before August 31, 2026, and must be completed by May 28, 2027. Each proposal must include a Bid Bond or certified check for ten percent of the bid price. The successful bidder must provide a satisfactory Performance Bond with acceptable sureties for the total contract price. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder with the lowest and best proposal, though any or all proposals may be rejected at the Owner's discretion. Plans and other necessary documents are available for viewing or purchase from the Engineer.
