The work consists of the renovation for the creation of a secured entry and remodel of the Administration Office; removal and replacement of the entire single roof and a portion of the plywood substrate; replacement of the existing Fire Alarm System; replacement of exterior lighting and controls; installation of a new marquee sign; installation of infrastructure for security systems renovations including partial doors and sidewalk replacements; installation of foundation drainage systems in portions of the school and repairs to the interiors in these areas; and power washing of a portion of the exterior masonry surfaces. Add alternates include replacement of standing seam metal roofing over the entry area, replacement of modified bitumen roofing over the classroom addition on the north side of the facility, and the cost to replace the HVAC system for MDF and IDF room. Bidders are responsible for obtaining all addenda prior to submitting a bid or proposal. All documents and addenda will be distributed as detailed, and the bidder or proposer must ensure they have received and reviewed all materials before submission. Bids must be physically delivered to the designated location and received by the deadlines indicated. All general contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting. Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory but is recommended for preparation of the proposal. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, proposals, CSPs, or statements of qualification and to waive technicalities.
