The Logan County Commission is soliciting proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide labor and Eaton equipment to upgrade existing electrical panel boards and breaker systems at the Logan County Courthouse, 300 Stratton Street, Logan, WV 25601. The purpose is to replace outdated and/or overloaded electrical panel boards and circuit breakers. All work must comply with applicable codes including those from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Scope of Work: - Remove existing panel with Eaton equipment boards and breakers - Furnish and install new UL-listed panel boards - Install new circuit breakers (standard and specialty as required) - Perform load calculations in accordance with the NEC - Upgrade feeders and bus ratings where required - Balance loads across phases Contractor Qualifications: - Be licensed electrical contractors in the State of WV (MASTER ELECTRICIANS) - Have a minimum of 5 years' experience with board upgrades - Carry required insurance (General Liability, Workers' Compensation, etc.) - Demonstrate experience working in occupied facilities (if applicable) Terms & Conditions: - All work must comply with applicable building and electrical codes - Contractor responsible for obtaining permits - Work hours must be coordinated with facility management - Contractor responsible for cleanup and disposal - Warranty period minimum: 1-2 years recommended - Sealed Bids are due May 1, 2026 at 2 p.m.
