Description

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Jacksonville, Florida. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The purpose of this project is to replace the existing northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (State Road 5) bridges over Pellicer Creek at the Flagler and St. Johns County line. The work is intended to address aging bridge infrastructure and ensure continued safe and reliable travel along this critical roadway corridor. The Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for the project was completed in February 2025, and the project has advanced into the design phase.
