Description

Renovation of a detention facility in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

The work involves removing ballast and roofing materials down to the deck and replacing them with a new EPDM roof system for buildings A, B, and G at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility, 1550 L Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501. Bids must be submitted on the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System and accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the total bid amount, which may be in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action and equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax, and Davis Bacon Wages do not apply. Requests for product substitutions must be made in writing before the deadline and will be considered for all products per the specified procedures, regardless of whether the original specification lists alternatives.
