Bids are requested from qualified licensed general contractors to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, tools, permitting, safety measures and all other necessary incidentals for synthetic turf replacement at Tequesta Trace Park, located at 600 Indian Trace, Weston, FL 33326. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of existing artificial turf; removal and disposal of shock/drain pads in select areas; removal and disposal of intruded roots identified by the City; furnishing material as needed and reworking the subbase and base rock to proper grade, including repairs to drain pipe; furnishing and installing shock/drain pads in select areas as needed; and furnishing and installing artificial turf and natural infill per the project plans and specifications. A Performance and Payment bond equal to 100% of the contract value is required upon contract award as security for performance and payment. Bidders must have been incorporated and in continuous operation for a minimum of five years prior to the bid date, be fully licensed, and provide evidence of completion of at least three similar projects within the last five years. Bid packages must include all required documents and be submitted in a plain sealed package, clearly labeled with bid number, bidder's name, address, and contact information. Bid security (Bid Bond or Cashier's Check) in the amount of $5,000 or 5% of the bid amount, whichever is greater, must accompany the bid. All written or graphical work product must be fully ADA compliant. No materials for bid preparation or submission will be supplied by the City. Submitted bids are firm for a minimum of 90 days and cannot be withdrawn during this period. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or request additional information as appropriate.
