Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Abingdon, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The replacement of approximately 15,560 LF of gravity sewer line (ranging in size from 8" to 18" diameter), the installation of UV-cured CIPP liner throughout approximately 2,035 LF of sewer line (ranging in size from 8" to 12" diameter), the removal and replacement of approximately 605 VF of concrete manhole structure, the installation of 99 manhole frames and covers, the rehabilitation of 80 VF of sewer manhole structure, the installation of 20 LF of concrete encasement for stream crossings, the replacement, reconnection and installation of approximately 220 private lateral sewer lines and sewer cleanouts and 4,500 LF of 6" lateral sewer line, the installation of ambient cure CIPP liner for approximately 25 sewer laterals (6" diameter), and all associated asphalt and curb and gutter restoration associated with construction. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The last day to submit questions will be at 12:00 p.m. EST, Friday, May 1, 2026.
