Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bowen Engineering Corporation is seeking quotations from DBE, MBE, and WBE contractor/supplier firms for miscellaneous plant improvements. The scope of work includes procurement and installation of replacement washwater piping, inspection and repairs to a 1.5 MG clearwell, replacement of a slide gate in the clearwell, installation of a vertical turbine pump with a VFD for the north filters, installation of a vertical split case pump in the South Filter Building for washwater tanks, replacement of a generator automatic transfer switch, provisions for generator testing, rehabilitation of plant switchgear and generator, removal and replacement of power panel (PP4), installation of new VFDs for High Service Pumps 5, 8, 9, and 10, and replacement of corroded electrical enclosures, cable, and conduit in the South Filter Building. The work also includes replacement of the MCC in the South Filter Building, supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (including milling), flushing, disinfecting, testing, and all necessary appurtenances. All work must be in accordance with the drawings and specifications and be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation. Subcontractors submitting a bid must affirm compliance with all bid documents.
