Description

Renovation of a museum in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

The Western Development Museum invites qualified fire protection contractors to submit proposals for the complete rebuild of the existing sprinkler riser tree located in the Curatorial & Corporate Services Centre at 2935 Lorne Avenue in Saskatoon. The project includes replacement of existing alarm-check valve assemblies, supervisory and waterflow devices, trim piping, drains, and gauges; installation of a new 10-inch Double Check Valve Assembly; integration of all new devices with the existing Edwards IO1000 fire alarm system; and removal of the existing water-motor gong. The intent is to restore system reliability, eliminate known leak and pressure issues, and provide a stable fire protection backbone ahead of planned construction work.
