Renovation of an educational facility in Park Forest, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Boiler replacement at Blackhawk Primary Center for Park Forest – Chicago Heights School District 163, Park Forest, IL 60466. Work will be performed under one prime HVAC contract. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check for not less than 10% of the total bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will provide satisfactory performance and payment bond, execute the contract, and proceed with the work. A 100% Performance Bond and Labor/Material Bond are required for the successful bidder. Bidders must furnish evidence of necessary facilities, abilities, experience, equipment, and financial and physical resources to fulfill the contract conditions and execute the work. No less than the prevailing wage must be paid for labor as required by law. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and award the bid in the manner that best serves the interests of the Owner.
