The City of Tucson is conducting a competitive one-step process to retain one firm to provide professional engineering services for the hydro-pneumatic tank assessment and rehabilitation program. The selected firm is to provide consultant services through a multi-disciplinary team. The estimated annual budget for this project is one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), with individual projects not to exceed five-hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00), though typical projects are under two-hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000). Services will be provided on an as-needed, if-needed basis and the resultant contract does not guarantee exclusivity or a commitment that services will be required. Interested firms are invited to submit written Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for evaluation. A Screening Committee will assess the qualifications and experience of the firms, and the best-qualified firm will be invited to negotiate billing rates under the contract. Only one firm will be selected through this process. Instructions to bidders include submitting SOQs as requested for consideration by the Screening Committee, with further negotiation for billing rates if selected as the best-qualified firm.
