Sealed bids will be received for the construction of 5M and 3M Gallon Ground Storage Tanks Repairs. The work generally includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for both tanks for constructing hand rail, repairing and cleaning exterior concrete, replacing screens on existing vents, repairing and cleaning interior concrete, cleaning and recoating interior piping, site work, and all necessary components to complete the project as shown in the contract documents. All work, materials, and equipment are to be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file at City Hall. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Work shall commence upon written Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed and completed 30 days after substantial completion, subject to any extension of time granted by the owner. Bids must be submitted to the specified address and will be publicly opened, read, and tabulated at the designated time.
