The School Board of Highlands County is requesting bids for the cost associated with roof replacement work at Avon Park Middle. The work is fully described within SBHC Bid #2526-25. Sealed, written, and manually signed bid proposals are required. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1. The work includes selective demolition and removal of existing metal and bituminous flashings, built-up roofing, cover boards and insulation down to existing decks. 2. The work further includes miscellaneous rough carpentry, sheathing, preparation required for reroofing, built-up asphalt roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, and joint sealants.
