The contractor is responsible for all work described in the Scope of Work, Project Documents, Specifications, and Drawings, and must bid and install a complete and operable solution. If the bidder finds the system description incomplete, they must address concerns in writing to the Owner prior to quoting. The contractor must provide an applicable State License and include a warranty for all work of not less than 12 months from completion. Daily clean-up is required in each area before proceeding to another. The contractor must adhere to the installation schedule or be subject to liquidated damages. Work must not disrupt classroom instruction or interfere with the safety of students and staff. Equipment cutover and testing must be performed outside normal school hours. The objective is the installation of new Audio/Visual (AV) systems at specified school sites, with each site priced separately. The contractor is to coordinate final installation locations with the district, and is responsible for furnishing, installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning all AV system components. Existing equipment to be replaced must be removed and returned to the District, and new head-end equipment connected to the District's existing network. The contractor is to provide and install all required cabling to ensure full functionality and network integration, and assure complete connectivity for both new and existing AV equipment remaining in service. Any deficiencies with existing equipment must be reported immediately prior to commencing work. The contractor must provide the cost to install and program all equipment as described in the specifications, meet minimum manufacturer certifications, and pre-program and test all AV head end equipment, end devices, and projectors off-site to the fullest extent possible. Coordination with District IT for network requirements is required. The contractor must install all required patch cables and provide all necessary licensing and warranties. Power and cooling for equipment locations are excluded from the contractor's work and will be provided by others. Bidders are required to provide a bid bond, payment bond, faithful performance bond, and certificates of insurance. All bids must be submitted electronically in PDF format through the project website, and a certificate of attendance at the mandatory job walk must be provided. The contractor must provide documentation for compliance with prevailing wage laws, certified payroll, and skilled and trained workforce requirements. Each school can be bid individually, and multiple proposals with different hardware may be submitted. All questions will be submitted through the project website and Bidders shall submit a single question submittal which includes all questions. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the Bidder's response being negatively scored or rejected completely for failure to comply with the requirements of the RFP.
