Design-Build Project: Construction of a drainage tunnel, tunnel components, and a pump station for I-94 Modernization Segment 3 in the city of Detroit, Wayne County. Only shortlisted contractors are eligible to bid on this project. The Project is located along I-94 and the I-94 westbound service drive from Gratiot Ave to east of Barrett Avenue in the City of Detroit in Wayne County. See Book 2, Section 1.2 for additional description. 0% SBP Participation Required The SBP goal established for this contract is 5% of the Contract Price. This project includes subclassifications of Ea, Fa, and Fd. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Avoid or minimize construction vehicle traffic on residential streets iv. Maintain access at all times for residents, pedestrians, and other stakeholders B. Utilities - i. Develop designs that recognize, minimize, and resolve avoidable impacts to utilities and implement effective strategies to minimize conflicts. C.
