Reference Number 0000419192 The City Of Warren Is Soliciting Electronic Bids For The Inspection Of Single-family Homes And Commercial Buildings For The Presence Of Regulated Asbestos Containing Materials (Racm) And Other Hazardous Materials (Excluding Lead Based Paint) That Should Be Removed Prior To Demolition Or During Renovation. The Interior And Exterior Of The Dwelling Are To Be Inspected Or Investigated To Perform An Asbestos Survey In Compliance With The Us Epa National Emission Standard For Hazardous Air Pollutants (Neshap) Demolition/renovation Inspection Requirements Under 40 Cfr Part 61.141 And 40 Cfr Part 61.145. The Asbestos Survey Will Be Conducted By A Third Party Under Contract With The City Of Warren, And An Employee Of The City Of Warren Will Be Present During The Survey. Samples Of Building Materials Including But Not Limited To Dry Wall, Mud, And Tape; Floor Tile And Mastic; Sheet Vinyl; Drop Ceiling; Roof Shingles; Window Caulking; Transite Siding; Insulation; Foundation; Concrete Or Any Other Exterior Or Interior Materials Or Substances May Be Extracted For Tests.
