The Kent County Purchasing Division is requesting quotations for the delivery and installation of landscape mulch in cubic yards to various county locations. Each location must be invoiced individually for the actual amounts delivered. Material and color must be verified before delivery. Delivery dates, actual quantities, and coordination will be arranged between the selected supplier and county maintenance personnel. Kent County may award the contract in total or by line item. Specifications for mulch type and color are provided for each location. Addresses of all facility locations are available in Exhibit A. Mulch is to be delivered and installed (if applicable) between May 1 and May 15, 2026. The work must be carried out in a first-class workmanlike manner, with all debris removed by the workers. The successful respondent is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses so the completed work complies with all applicable regulations, with these costs included in the bid price. Any fines or fees resulting from violations are the responsibility of the successful bidder. Complete submissions must be received by the due date and include a completed Exhibit A with the response. Submissions that deviate from the specifications will only be considered if deviations are clearly noted. No costs incurred prior to award will be reimbursed. Submissions constitute an irrevocable offer for 45 days from the due date.
