The Town is seeking a qualified, commercial contractor to remove fats, oil, and grease from approximately 5,834 linear feet of sewer lines or pipes, varying in diameter from 8 to 10 inches. The requirements include utilizing a hydro-jetting water service operating at a minimum of 2000 psi and deploying a commercial grade chemical agent to de-grease the pipes, with the jetting service passing through the lines two times. As much of the dispersed water and chemical agent as possible must be recaptured. The jetting service must use a sewer cleaning vacuum truck or comparable equipment. The contractor is responsible for supplying experienced crews, vehicles, tools, and equipment, ensuring personnel have required licenses and certificates, providing detailed invoices, complying with safety and vehicle regulations, and coordinating work with the Town's Operations Manager of Utilities. The Town will provide traffic control, access, water, and dump sites for collected debris. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Town holidays. All work must be completed by June 30, 2026. No Federal Tax is to be included in the quote. Inspections during and after work will be conducted, and any non-compliant work must be promptly corrected at the contractor's expense prior to final acceptance.
