Site work for an educational facility in Mission Viejo, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

The project is for the Phase 2 Solar Canopy and Battery Storage Project at Saddleback College, under the South Orange County Community College District. Bidders are required to independently evaluate the project requirements and propose a price for completing project construction and other obligations under the contract documents. Bids must be submitted according to formal bid procedures under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). Bidders must hold an A-General Engineering Contractor or C-46 Solar Contractor license. All bidders and subcontractors must be DIR Registered Contractors. Bid proposals must include bid security equal to ten percent (10%) of the proposed price. The contractor and all subcontractors must pay not less than the prevailing wage rate for work performed. Potential bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk. Bidders may request the acceptance of alternatives to specified products by submitting a written request. Pre-bid inquiries and substitution requests must be made through the designated portal by the stated deadline. Bid proposals remain binding for sixty days and may be withdrawn prior to the submission deadline. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities.
