Capital Region Water is accepting sealed bids for the procurement of pipe for the Paxton Creek Interceptor. Sealed bids must be submitted online via the PennBid Procurement Portal by the specified deadline. The contract will be awarded to the overall lowest responsible bidder as determined by the Board of Directors in the best interest of Capital Region Water. There is no mandatory pre-bid meeting; however, bidders may request site visits to the delivery location in writing through the portal by the specified date. Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds are required in accordance with the contract documents, but Bid Bonds are not required. Bids must be submitted online using the provided Proposal Form. Bidders may clarify their bids but cannot alter the text of any bidding documents or add unauthorized conditions. All questions must be submitted online through the portal's "Public Q&A" tab. Bidding documents can only be modified by addendum issued in the portal. Capital Region Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any defects or irregularities.
